Cycling at Alyn Waters Country Park

Every Wednesday at Alyn Waters Country Park Visitor Centre. Available from 1pm - 7pm. Only £4 per session. Running from the visitor centre, this is a traffic-free cycleway that offers cycling for children, adults and families. It offers safe cycling for all with mostly gentle slopes and pleasent views. Jogging Club

The first session will run on Wednesday 30th April 6-7pm Meeting point – Llay Miners Welfare Reception Trained Instructor: Lisa Livingstone We welcome all fitness levels and abilities to take part! Ages 16+ £2 per person The perfect session to help you train if you’re doing Race for Life at Alun Waters in June. Or if you want to get in shape for the summer! Walking group

The weekly walks are running very well, set up in association with Groundwork and North Wales Outdoor Challenge. The sessions take place every Thursday 11.00am-12.00pm starting from the welfare and walking to and around a risk assessed route in Alyn Waters Country Park. The walk is aimed at currently inactive people and lasts for 1 hour. We are hoping to introduce Nordic Walking soon to this group.

TABLE TENNIS SESSIONS

Every Thurday in the extention 7.30-11pm come along and have a knock about or recieve expert coaching. For more information contact P aul Evans at The Welfare

POWER CHI YOGA

New Power Chi Yoga sessions commencing on March 27th every Thursday here at Llay Miners Welfare 6.45-7.45pm cost £3.50. Improve your mobility and flexibility and feel relaxed and energised!
